In response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Delhi government has placed the city on high alert. As a precautionary measure, all leaves for government officers and doctors in public hospitals have been cancelled until further notice. This decision aims to ensure that essential services remain uninterrupted during this period of heightened security.

Police presence has been significantly increased across the capital, with officers conducting night patrols and monitoring key areas. Traffic around prominent locations, such as India Gate, is being regulated, and authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant. A senior police official stated that district police chiefs have been instructed to address any suspicious activities promptly.

The Services Department issued an order late Thursday, directing that no leave shall be granted to any officer or official of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi until further orders. Similarly, the Health Department has confirmed that all leaves for doctors in government hospitals have been revoked to maintain full medical readiness. These measures are part of the government's strategy to ensure public safety and preparedness during this uncertain time.
